With regret I read yesterday of the passing of William Zinsser.

I benefited from his books
On Writing Well and Writing to Learn as learner and teacher. I still keep my copy of
On Writing Well on my desk, and refer to it.


Anyone who needs to learn how to write needs to read his works.


Writing About Your Life was one of the inspirations for this blog and helped get  me through what was in general a difficult summer.

Would it actually be possible for product designers to design products that would be actually be easy to use or even usable for ordinary people? I'm looking at you, bandage designers and nutrition beverage packaging designers! And a lot of other product designers!!!!!!!!!!!
